Well Abandonment – Do it right, the first time! – Technical Webinar
Well Plug & Abandonment (P&A) is the final operation in a well, this work required by local governments represents a huge liability for the oil & gas industry. The objective is to place permanent well barriers which shall extend across the full cross section of the well, including all annuli and seal both vertically and horizontally. This webinar will provide a high-level overview of how to perform a well abandonment. It will touch briefly on the regulations and guidelines and thereafter focus on annular isolation methodologies while highlighting some of the technical challenges.
